This recipe for roasted green beans will be good company for any roast and, as per dinner tonight, steak frites.

Roasted Green Beans
Green beans, ends chopped off
Salt & Pepper
Lemon juice (optional, approximately 2 tsp for 1/2 lb of green beans)
Preheat the oven at 425F.
Season and toss the green beans with the dry ingredients, then the lemon juice if using, then finally with a glug of olive oil. Spread out in a baking tray and roast for 12-15 minutes.
Served with strip steak, sweet potato fries and, for pudding, a blueberry crumble!
